Acoustic Barrier Finish and Appearance

All Buffalo Softwood Barriers are pressure impregnated to Motorway Specification in either brown or light green colours. Hardwood Barriers are untreated, light brown when new and turn grey after two years. Hardwood Barriers are used in areas with high risk of vandalism.

Reflective Barriers

The standard Reflective Barrier comprises of solid timber sections supported by "H" section steel posts. Cladding is of a gap free design that allows for natural timber movement. Vertical boarding is in softwood, or hardwood for extra vandal resistance.

Absorptive Acoustic Barriers

Absorptive Barriers are also available in timber sections in all heights up to 8m. Posts can have a galvanised finish or a galvanised finish with a polyester coating. Buffalo Structures are quality assured.
